This camp is just for girls! We have planned a wide variety of summer camps to appeal to the interests of girls from Kindergarten to Grade 6. Each week of summer camp is robust, with plenty of activity, field trips, and supported by guests and specialist helpers. Our camps for girls are open to St. Margaret’s students as well as girls in our community. Camp themes are Road to Rio: Olympic Sports, World Culinary Festival, Glee: Musical Theatre Camp, Ocean-inspired Art, Chalk Art, and STEM programming offered in partnership with Science Venture and Girls Learning Code!
Camps run July 4 to August 12, Mon–Fri , 8am–5:30pm. Families may register for all five weeks, or register week-by-week for flexibility. Full week attendance is required, as there will not be a pro-rated fee for partial attendance. Space is limited and registration will be first come, first served.
To register, or to ask questions, please contact Robin Hannah: by email or by phone 250-812-5324.
Have you ever dreamed of being at the Olympics? Come join us for a week of Olympic sports, fun, learning and most important dreaming, as we take on all things Olympics. Light the torch of summer with a girl-centered approach as we embark on an Olympic sized week-long sporting adventure where dreaming big, showing courage, and demonstrating excellence fuels us on the journey to the “Road to Rio.”

CoderGirls Camps are designed for creative girls who want to use technology to change the world. This camp gives girls the chance to discover the world of code, building critical computer science skills in a fun and engaging environment! Design games, build robots, create apps, and even do some 3D modelling through our innovative camp that aims to create a new generation of technology producers. Camp will also include daily Computer Science Unplugged activities, to introduce students to Computational Thinking separated from the distractions and technical details of having to use computers. Most importantly, no programming is required!
PLEASE NOTE: Registration for this camp is handled separately. Click here to register for CoderGirl

Come explore the tastes and cultures from around the world. In this camp we will discuss how climate plays an important role in food grown in each region. The girls will investigate the nutritional value of different foods and the artful preparation of food. We will investigate meals of typical families from around the world and discover the elements of creating a restaurant ambiance including table settings, decorations, and music.
The girls will explore their relationships to water and the ocean through the visual arts. Students will be able to render water, ocean, marine animals and plants using different media. We will draw and paint by observing marine habitats in nature and books.
Of course we can! This camp will look at many aspects of the world of chalk. We will look at the beginnings of chalk and we will explore many creative ways in which to use chalk. Chalk paint, chalk boards, chalk art, the science of chalk and chalk in nature are just some of the interesting aspects of this exciting medium. Chalk it up to a great experience!
Are you a performer in the making? This drama camp exposes young performers to the elements of musical theatre. The girls will focus on specific workshops in dancing, singing, and acting in the mornings followed by drama games and outdoor activities in the afternoons.
